Canadian black metal outfit WORMWITCH has partnered with TTRPG writer JVC Parry for the release of Lord Of Chains – A Mörk Borg Nightmare. Lord Of Chains is an adventure for the pitch-black apocalyptic fantasy RPG Mörk Borg, inspired by the lyrics of WORMWITCH. Album Review: Wormwitch – Wolf Hex

WORMWITCH has been at it awhile, and now returns for the all-important third album. Reviews have been kind to the Vancouver quartet thus far, so all that remains is the question “Did the band deliver?”. Album Review: Wormwitch – Heaven That Dwells Within

This is my first encounter with WORMWITCH. The band belongs to a kind of subgenre where gloom reigns and black metal is just one flavor in an overall tasting. It resembles the approach of another band I recently encountered, FROSTHELM. But there is an extra layering of melody and mood here that surpasses what FROSTHELM was able to achieve.
