SVARTSOT release new album, Peregrinus, in September

SVARTSOT are set to release their sixth – and probably last traditional – album in September. 2025 is also the band’s 20th anniversary year. Following the release of Kumbl on Mighty Music in 2022 and a series of shows in support of the album, work commenced on the writing of the next album. It was, however, at this time that long-time drummer and producer of Kumbl, Frederik Uglebjerg, announced his departure from SVARTSOT. SVARTSOT signs to Mighty Music, New album in 2022

Although it is now quite a while since SVARTSOT has released new material, the band is still very much alive and kicking. In the interim since 2015’s Vældet, the beer-soaked folk metallers have been active on the live scene in Denmark and abroad, including appearances at various major festivals as well as at the prestigious 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise in 2019.
